A unidentfied young fellow was beaten barbarously, tied by a mob after he was spotted wearing a fabric professedly stolen from a shop at Ikot Ekpene street in Umuahia, Abia State today.
It was accounted for, that the suspect was seen by the proprietor of the boutique,wearing one of the garments supposedly plundered from the store.
At the point, when asked by his captors, the young fellow said he didn't take the fabric and that it was given to him by one of his companions.
He was tied up and beaten by the inhabitants previously he was given over to security agents, not after the said material was peeled off him.
